The PRO Remodeler’s Conference is the ultimate event for professionals in the remodeling industry in New England, and this year was no exception. The conference brought together 125 passionate and dedicated professionals and 20 innovative exhibitors at the Verve Hotel in Natick, MA. The energy was electric as attendees shared their knowledge, networked, and learned about the latest trends and technologies in the field.

The annual conference is an incredible opportunity for attendees to gain practical information and tools that they can use to improve their businesses. The expert panels and learning tracks covered a broad range of topics, including business strategies, code updates, and job site safety. The event provides a unique opportunity for attendees to connect with other professionals and vendors in the industry, leading to valuable collaborations and partnerships.

This year’s conference showcased 20 of the industry’s finest products and services during the Vendor Expo. All the exhibitors were PRO members, and they left no stone unturned in showing off their innovative products and services. The Expo took place during the conference’s extended lunch period, with prizes, a lunch buffet, and the opportunity to learn about vital business services and products.

The educational sessions were a tremendous success, and attendees were thrilled to secure Continuing Education Units (CEUs). The morning began with a fascinating overview of The 2023 MA Residential Stretch Code by Bill Footer of Performance Systems Development. The group had an opportunity to ask questions and clarify details regarding the newly updated code. Next, Scott Spyropoulos from LeadSMART Training Solutions gave a rousing lesson on Lead and Silica Awareness, highlighting the importance of safety in the industry.

The Women in Residential Remodeling Panel Discussion was one of the most anticipated events of the day. Facilitated by Allison Iantosca of F.H. Perry Builder, panelists Laura Burnes of Adams + Beasley Associates, Xiomara Garcia of F.H. Perry Builder, and Amanda LaRose of Studio Bowerbird led a fascinating discussion about how to support and create a safe environment for women in the industry.
